Mymotherlode Events, Fundraisers
Celebrations are flooding the community events calendar. Tonight’s opening night of Calaveras High School’s outdoor production, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma!” is at 7:00 PM each night. The mymotherlode performance will be in Calaveras High School’s upper field from Monday through Sunday. You can find more information in the event calendar.
Tonight’s Twain Harte mymotherlode air market will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. The Certified Farmers Market in Angels Camp runs Fridays from 5:15 to 8:00 PM. The Peaceful Valley Farmers Market is also Fridays from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Saturday’s Sonora Certified Farmer’s Market is at 10:00 am.
Saturday and Sunday, the Tuolumne County Master Gardeners will host Polystyrene Collection Days. Styrofoam or polystyrene (trademark brand polystyrene), must be free from tape, labels, labels, and food. The food-grade polystyrene should be separated from the packing grade. Volunteers will set up at the Waste Management Recycling site on mymotherlode Microtronics Way from 9am-4pm, and on Sunday, June 20, 10am-2pm at Waste Management, Inc. Microtronics Way. Stop by the Fire Safe Fair if you’re in Amador County, Fiddletown in particular. Firefighters from both the Pioneer Fire Protection Districts THE HOCKEY SONGS and Amador will show you how to keep your home safe. Amador Sheriffs will sign people up for Code Red, an emergency alert system. A ribbon-cutting will take place at noon to commemorate the community-funded Shower Room at Fire Station. Concert In The Pines is Saturday night at mymotherlode Twain harte This is the first of nine Saturday evenings that will feature musical performances by local bands at the Eproson park stage, near the open bocce court courts. You can find more information here.
This weekend, the 35th Annual Celtic Heritage Celebration will be held at Calaveras Fairgrounds Angels Camp from 11 am until 11 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
You should be prepared for extremely hot weather. Stay cool at the Sonora Regal Theater, during movie times, or at one of the nearby cooling centers in Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties.
